Before I became a bookkeeper, I had a career in the business world, most of it in some form of Information Technology. This gave me a understanding of how businesses really operate. I worked closely with teams across departments and saw how everything—systems, people, and processes—had to align to keep the business running. I also saw the challenges small business owners and service professionals face every day: keeping up with bills, staying ahead of taxes, managing cash flow, and figuring out where their money is really going.
Later in my career, I became a real estate investor, but also became a bookkeeper out of necessity. As my ventures grew, I had to figure out how to manage the books for multiple businesses: a property management company, a real estate investment business with multiple LLC’s, and an IT services contracting company. I quickly learned that clean, accurate books weren’t just “good to have”—they were the foundation for making better decisions and building success.
When I started using QuickBooks Online, I realized something: while it worked great for service professionals, it wasn’t naturally intuitive or even designed for real estate investors. I spent hours (okay, months) experimenting, training, and customizing it to track exactly what I needed as a property owner, manager, and investor. From tracking profitability to simplifying complex reporting, I learned how to make QuickBooks Online work for me—not the other way around.
That’s when I realized that I wasn’t the only one with this problem. Real estate investors needed a bookkeeper who truly understood their challenges—because I’d been there myself.
Now, I bring all of that experience together:
Whether you’re a real estate investor, small business owner, or service professional, I’m here to help you take control of your finances, get clarity on your numbers, and free up your time to focus on what you do best.
I love this work. I bring the same energy and passion to my clients that I bring to my own businesses. Let’s tackle your books together, so you can grow confidently—knowing your numbers are working for you.
